Turning Point Recovery Centers: Overarching Program Goals
- To provide a safe home-like environment for individuals to begin their recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders
- To assess the unique needs, strengths, abilities, and preferences of individuals entering treatment to develop an individualized treatment plan. Treatment approaches are individualized/person centered and directed by psychological, philosophical, and theological ideologies.
- To provide a multi-diverse staff that includes Licensed Clinicians, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors, Certified Peer Recovery Coaches and Recovery Support Technicians.
- To help persons served accessing Oakland Community Health Network and Macomb County Office of Substance Abuse, resources during and post discharge for the ongoing process of achieving long-term sobriety.
- To maximize opportunities to improve multiple areas of life functioning through community network resource services.
Additional Information
- Turning Point provides treatment services to individuals 18 years of age and older.
- Turning Point is a non-smoking/vaping facility. There are designated times and places outside of the building for smoking/vaping.
